About Larry Smith Ministries?
Larry is not an ordained minister or evangelist but he is a Christian singer who sings Southern Gospel Music. Larry is also a family man, father of three and grandfather of six grandchildren and recently his first great grandchild was born. Larry's endeavors in his music ministry to personally select songs that uplift the believer while at the same time delivering the salvation message of accepting Jesus Christ as your own personal savior. The Bible quotes Jesus Christ as saying in John 14:6; "I am the way, the truth, and the life, nobody comes to the father except through me." All of the songs that Larry sings share the biblical message of salvation through Jesus Christ.

What is Southern Gospel Music?
Larry's music ministry involves singing Southern Gospel Music. What is Southern Gospel Music? Southern Gospel Music has been around for many years and has been made extremely popular in the past twenty years through the Bill and Gloria Gaither Homecoming concerts that are available on VHS, DVD, and CD. If you have ever attended a Gaither Homecoming event or watched a DVD or VHS or listened to the heart warming songs on a CD, then you will have an idea of the type of music Larry sings.

What To Expect When Larry Travels To Your Church To Sing
When Larry is invited to sing at your church he provides his own professional sound system unless other arrangements have been made. Larry requests that he be afforded the opportunity to display his recordings at a table and offer his CD's and cassettes for purchase at the end of each church service or concert venue. Since Larry is a soloist and travels alone, he usually requests and receives help loading and unloading his sound equipment and setting up and tearing down of the same with directions from Larry.

A church concert with Larry is usually a 45-minute to 60-minute program. Larry does not consider himself a christian entertainer although some people are entertained by gospel music. Larry views his singing as a personal music ministry to Jesus Christ and Larry usually takes time to share his own personal testimony during his singing program. Larry has shorter programs available when he sings at regularly scheduled church services and is very flexible with the amount of time you want him to sing.

Larry sings at churches large and small and he realizes that many small churches don't have singers in for a church concerts simply because they have a smaller budget. Please don't keep that from inviting Larry to sing. No church or venue is to large or to small to invite Larry to sing.

A Word About The Booking Process and - Love Offerings.
God has always supplied Larry's music ministry with the traveling expenses Larry needs when he comes to sing at a church. These love offerings are provided by church congregations when Larry comes to sing. This helps keep Larry on the road sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through song. If your church or other venue would like to book Larry to sing, please determine the date you want and then check Larry's schedule for dates of availability. If that date is not listed as booked on Larry's website, then chances are that the date may be "open for booking". All that is left to do is to contact Larry by email or phone his booking office and work out the rest of the arrangements.

Larry is very sensitive to your churches needs and is comfortable singing a few songs for a church service, or a full 45-minute to 1-hour concert. Larry is available to sing for church services, church dinners, fairs, or special music for church revivals.
